I grew up in Atlanta Georgia, then moved to Charlotte North Carolina and spent 9 years there with my husband and our 5 children. Our family made the move Utah in August 2015 and finally found our home here in Cache Valley August 2016. I absolutely love the South but we are really loving this beautiful state and are extremely fortunate to live here.
My occupational back ground is actually focused in the restaurant industry. I was a Restaurant Manager for a popular spot in Atlanta for 10 years. A few years ago I started feeding my passion for child nutrition and volunteered in a local charter school while continuing my education in Child Nutrition and Public Health with emphasis on Real Food.
I am so excited to be working for such a great school and look forward to feeding the kids yummy, non-processed health foods.
I moved to Cache Valley when I was 2, so these mountains are my home. I am a strong believer in always being true to yourself and showing the world that we don't need to fit in, we need to help the world see more kinds of beauty. I love to camp, be with my dogs, spend time with my family, go on vacation and listen to music. I love being around the kids of CCID each day and see them light up when something clicks but I mostly love that I get to have a fun connection with them and show them that being happy, crazy and loud or whoever they are is exactly what the world around them needs!
I grew up here in Cache Valley and have been in the same place all my life. I am an overachiever in almost everything I do. I graduated from Ridgeline High School and New Horizons Beauty College. I am marrying my high school sweetheart this fall and super excited to start our life together. I love being with kids, going hunting, spending time in nature, and being with my family and my dog, Nugget.
I born and raised in Cache Valley. I love spending time with my husband and our 4 kids. We really like to spend time at the sand dunes. We like to ride 4 wheelers, dirt bikes, and sand boards. I am excited to work at the school, and to see the children grow to like healthy food.
I was born in Cache Valley but had not actually lived here until we moved here three years ago, from just across the Idaho border. I have spent most of my life in Idaho and my younger years in Colorado, always near the beautiful mountains. I have been blessed for many years to be able to stay at home with my kids and now that they are all grown or in school I am lucky enough to be able to work at their school and see them throughout the day. CCID has made a wonderful difference in the way my kids are learning and growing and we are happy to be here!
