I grew up in Atlanta Georgia, then moved to Charlotte North Carolina and spent 9 years there with my husband and our 5 children. Our family made the move Utah in August 2015 and finally found our home here in Cache Valley August 2016. I absolutely love the South but we are really loving this beautiful state and are extremely fortunate to live here.
My occupational back ground is actually focused in the restaurant industry. I was a Restaurant Manager for a popular spot in Atlanta for 10 years. A few years ago I started feeding my passion for child nutrition and volunteered in a local charter school while continuing my education in Child Nutrition and Public Health with emphasis on Real Food.
I am so excited to be working for such a great school and look forward to feeding the kids yummy, non-processed health foods.

I was born in Cache Valley but had not actually lived here until we moved here three years ago, from just across the Idaho border. I have spent most of my life in Idaho and my younger years in Colorado, always near the beautiful mountains. I have been blessed for many years to be able to stay at home with my kids and now that they are all grown or in school I am lucky enough to be able to work at their school and see them throughout the day. CCID has made a wonderful difference in the way my kids are learning and growing and we are happy to be here!
I was born in Anchorage Alaska, however I have lived for the last 17 years in Cache Valley and in the Ogden area. I am the youngest of 6 children. My interests include going to the movies, cooking, being with my family, and I am an avid reader who loves to discuss what I have read. The perfect day is watching Netflix, playing board games, and having a BBQ with my friends.
I excited to be here at CCID as my goals are to be in education. I am enrolling at Utah State and am eagerly waiting to start school. I am working on getting my Child Development Associate (CDA) as I enjoy working with children. I have also volunteered in an ecclesiastical setting teaching children and have enjoyed the experience.
