Open Enrollment

Open enrollment for SY 2024-2025 lottery begins January 25, 2024 through February 25, 2024. Enrollment in the 2024-2025 SY lottery is done electronically on this webpage. Please call the school office to arrange for a personal tour at 435-258-7097. Thank you for your interest!

Lottery Process & Procedures

All students with COMPLETE enrollment application forms will be included in the lottery.  Students on the existing wait list of the current school year will maintain priority order.  Lottery students will be added to this wait list.

If the size of the enrollment applicant pool exceeds the capacity of a grade level during the enrollment period, a lottery will be held. Notifications regarding placement are sent via email according to posted dates. Parents/guardians will have seven business days to complete the enrollment process. Parents who do not respond within seven business days will no longer be considered as accepted and the spot will be given to the next student on the grade level waitlist.

In accordance with Utah State law, the CCID lottery selects students at random throughout the lottery with preference at each lottery given only to those groups identified within CCID Enrollment Policy. Applicants who have accepted the enrollment notification must submit all State and school-required registration forms in accordance with posted instructions and deadlines in order to maintain their placement status. Students who do not submit required registration forms by the indicated deadline will be denied enrollment and removed from the application pool.

Admission after the initial Lottery

CCID enrolls students after its lottery season of any given school year contingent on available space. Enrollment admissions will be offered to students on the waiting list maintained by The Center Creativity, Innovation and Discovery.

Siblings
When a student is admitted to the school through the lottery process, all siblings of that student are admitted immediately, IF space is available. If space is not available for a particular grade, that sibling will be placed on the waiting list.

Waiting List
Students not selected will remain on a waiting list, preserving the order as determined by the lottery, giving preference as outlined in our Enrollment policy to:  

• Children or grandchildren of CCID board members
• Children of CCID teachers and staff employed at the school
• Siblings of pupils who are actively enrolled CCID students at the time of enrollment of the sibling, or are legacy siblings of prior active CCID pupils who graduated from CCID.

Students placed on the waiting list will be given the opportunity to attend the school if openings become available during the school year.
